Hiya, “Kidoz”! I’m new to the blog. The name is Chantel, and I get on with people very well. I have a rather giddy personality. But enough about myself, what about yourself!?

I moved many times in my life, sometimes within a country and sometimes straight away to another country. I have noticed that as I get older it’s harder to make friends at new places. I am new here in Vietnam, I had difficulties in my school when I was new, some would talk behind my back, I didn’t know what to say at times, but now i have true friends who are always there for me. I am in year 6. I will move to secondary next year, it will be a drastic change, having a locker, being able to use my cell, being able to use my own laptop, it’s quite exciting, but on the other hand I think ‘will i be able to fit in…?’

Today I can’t believe I have to give goodbyes hugs and kisses to a family that is moving to Georgia. I am really sad and wish them the best at their new town, home and church. I bet my mom will pour out crying and will take forever to clam her down, but that’s what the Lord wanted for them and I do understand, but really sad.

Last night some of my friends that are moving to Georgia slept over. They have 2 little girls that are 1 year apart. They are so cute and I woke-up this morning and started to think that today I will say my goodbyes (and I am not looking forward to that.) I hope all goes well and they will have fun at their new church, home and school. I bet that my mom will pore out crying and will take a lot of time to clam her down.
